IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL


The purpose of the IP Core BO DevOps North position is to ensure stable, secure, and efficient operations of the IP Core network within the North region by managing day-to-day operations, automation initiatives, service availability, and continuous performance optimization.

The role is responsible for maintaining high network availability, supporting service delivery, implementing DevOps-driven operational practices, ensuring rapid incident resolution, and enabling seamless integration between planning, deployment, and operations teams to support business-critical telecom services.


HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT


  • Audit and Risk Management: Take timely actions on audit observations, risk mitigation, and Disaster Recovery (DR) drill execution relating to the IP core network.
  • Network Optimization: Implement measures to optimize the IP core network and reduce network CAPEX and OPEX, specifically focusing on offloading to ANT and AR routers.
  • Service Assurance: Ensure maximum uptime and performance of the IP core network in the North region by taking all necessary measures to avoid or reduce network downtime and service degradation incidents.
  • Incident Resolution: Minimize outage durations for carrier and corporate services and ensure timely provisioning and support for carrier and corporate circuits.
  • Safety and Development: Reduce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) accidents and injuries for field workers, including third-party vendors, while proactively improving employee capabilities through performance feedback and training.


WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL


Qualification

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Telecom, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience: 12+ years of experience in Telecom Service Provider networks.
  • At least 5 years in a managerial or senior technical leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing nationwide IP/MPLS backbone networks.


Technical Competency:

  • Incident response and handling.
  • Project management.
  • Customer support.
  • Proficiency in IP protocols.
  • Advanced knowledge of BGP.
