Senior Manager, Medical Affairs - IST Operations - Part Time Contractor

Summary

The ideal candidate will have experience working on Investigator-Sponsored Trials (ISTs) with extensive knowledge of operational activities. This contract position is remote, working 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Provide operational support for the Arcus IST (Investigator-Sponsored Trial) program including interfacing with external investigators
Oversee study specific timelines and manage appropriately

Qualifications

Bachelors, Masters or Advanced (i.e. PharmD, PhD) degree in a life-sciences discipline plus 7+ years progressive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, including 2+ years of diverse Medical Affairs experience(s)
Oncology (solid tumor or hematologic malignancies) clinical, research, or medical communications experience required
Experience working in a matrix environment with other functional groups (e.g. Regulatory, Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Commercial) where consensus across multiple opinions and good working relationships are important
Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to make appropriate decisions to operationalize and move key projects forward
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent planning, organization, and project management skills, including managing multiple priorities and projects with flexibility to changing priorities
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
