Job Title: Senior Manager Planning

Job Purpose
To lead and manage production planning, material planning, and demand forecasting activities to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations, optimal inventory levels, and timely product availability in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual production plans aligned with sales forecasts and business objectives.
- Lead demand planning and S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes in coordination with Sales, Marketing, Production, QA, and Procurement teams.
- Ensure availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods through effective material requirement planning (MRP).
- Monitor production schedules and adjust plans to manage capacity constraints, breakdowns, or demand fluctuations.
- Optimize inventory levels to minimize excess stock, expiries, and stock-outs.
- Coordinate closely with QA/QC to ensure compliance with GMP, DRAP, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze planning KPIs (OTIF, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, production efficiency) and present reports to senior management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the planning team to enhance performance and process discipline.
- Support new product launches, technology transfers, and scale-up activities from a planning perspective.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning systems, ERP utilization (SAP/Oracle), and processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10–15 years of experience in production planning, material planning & supply chain planning within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP PP/MM preferred).
- Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
