Job Summary/Purpose:
Identify opportunities and deliver effective strategies to generate results in strategic marketing planning, branding, and product development for the Brand. Drive product‑led brand strategy, market introduction planning, customer insights, pricing direction, and communication frameworks that strengthen brand equity and deliver competitive advantage.
- Strategic:
- Prepare annual plans, calendar and budgets to meet the marketing strategic planning requirements.
- Monitor implementation of the annual plans, calendar and measure achievements of results against budgets and objectives and take corrective measures as appropriate.
- Recommend annual marketing & branding strategies such as promotions, campaigns, launch events, special activities, etc.
- Operational:
- Define and lead the overall product marketing vision, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and long‑term business objectives.
- Develop product positioning, segmentation, and customer value propositions to drive competitive differentiation across the vehicle portfolio.
- Lead brand development initiatives to strengthen the brand’s identity, relevance, and positioning within the automotive industry.
- Advise senior leadership on product strategy using deep market insights, consumer trends, competitive intelligence, and automotive industry forecasts.
- Evaluate business cases for new models, facelifts, special editions, and portfolio expansion initiatives based on commercial potential and customer relevance.
- Oversee the creation and execution of all product marketing materials, including digital assets, brochures, specifications, sales enablement tools, and training content.
- Manage product lifecycle marketing programs including value enhancement packages, promotional focus, and retention initiatives.
- Conduct ongoing performance analysis including market share, pricing competitiveness, customer satisfaction, and performance and deliver reports, dashboards, recommendations to Executive Leadership.
- Develop price positioning, mix strategies, and product hierarchy recommendations aligned with brand aspiration and competitive context.
- Guide creative direction for campaigns, product content, experiential activations, media drives, showroom experiences, and digital brand storytelling.
- Manage product PR strategy, launch announcements, press kits, media briefing materials, and influencer engagement.
- Elevate cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Aftersales, Product Planning, Finance to ensure seamless execution.
- Approve product brochures, spec sheets, feature highlights, and all product‑related marketing content ensuring accuracy and brand coherence.
- Manage product image libraries, media assets, and content guidelines for internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish product and brand governance frameworks, ensuring consistent application across channels.
- Promote a culture of innovation, data‑driven decision‑making, operational excellence, and continuous improvement within the department.
- People Management:
- Share relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with team members and conduct annual performance evaluations to support continuous improvement and development.
- Identify, set and agree on KPIs and objectives.
- Prepare performance planning (PP), conduct performance appraisal (PA) and PP/PA interviews including employee development plans and counsel employees on career progression opportunities and approve training requests.
- Recommend employee promotions, salary adjustments, disciplinary actions and approve vacation and overtime.
- Identify staffing needs, participate in interviewing panels and take hiring decisions.
- Recommend and encourage staff participation in training programs that support skill development and career progression.
- Maintain and promote staff motivation by addressing employee grievances promptly and escalating when necessary and enforcing fair and equitable compliance with Company policies and procedures.
- Ensure increasing levels of employee satisfaction and improve the efficiency of manpower.
