Job Description:

As a Senior Manager – SAP PaPM SME, you will lead the design, delivery, and adoption of SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) solutions to enable advanced profitability analysis, cost allocation, and performance modeling across the enterprise. You will work closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to drive strategic value through cutting-edge modeling and analytics.

This is a senior leadership role requiring strong domain expertise, deep technical understanding of SAP PaPM and its integrations, and the ability to drive business transformation through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end design and implementation of SAP PaPM solutions, aligning profitability and performance models with the organization’s strategic objectives.

• Define and implement cost allocation methodologies, cost-driver structures, and scenario simulations across Finance, Supply Chain, and Commercial functions.

• Drive integration of PaPM with systems such as S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and other planning and reporting platforms to ensure transparency and accuracy.

• Collaborate with Finance leadership to define Value KPIs, embedding them within PaPM models to support decision-making and monitor value realization.

• Ensure that profitability and performance models adhere to IFRS standards and internal reporting requirements while meeting strategic business needs.

• Serve as a strategic advisor and thought leader in the areas of advanced analytics, profitability insights, and enterprise performance management. Share best practices and leverage industry benchmarks.

• Manage and influence stakeholders across Finance, IT, and Commercial teams. Drive business buy-in, ensure alignment, and uphold governance structures.

• Lead and mentor consulting teams, analysts, and partner/offshore resources. Ensure high-quality delivery and foster skill development within the team.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Finance transformation, enterprise performance management, or related domains.

• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP PaPM solution design, configuration, and implementation.

• Proven experience integrating SAP PaPM with S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

• Solid understanding of cost allocation models, profitability analysis, and scenario modeling.

• Experience working with Finance leadership on KPI definition, value management, and strategic modeling.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

• Experience managing cross-functional teams, both onshore and offshore.

• Knowledge of IFRS standards and internal/external reporting practices is preferred.

• SAP certification(s) in PaPM or related modules is a plus.
