Senior Managing Consultant Data Analytics

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-level data architectures. The ideal candidate will define data standards, models, and integration frameworks to ensure data availability, quality, and scalability across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise data architecture, data models, and governance frameworks.

• Develop logical, conceptual, and physical data models for analytical and transactional systems.

• Lead the design of data pipelines, data warehousing solutions, and integration architectures.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement ETL/ELT processes, data flows, and APIs.

• Define data security, privacy, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

• Evaluate and recommend cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Optimize database performance and ensure high availability and disaster recovery practices.

• Establish and enforce data quality and metadata management guidelines.

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into architectural solutions.

• Provide technical leadership and mentor data engineers & BI teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• 6–10+ years of experience in data engineering, database design, or similar roles.

• Strong expertise in:

  • Data modeling (ER diagrams, dimensional modeling, OLAP/OLTP)

  • SQL & NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

  • ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, DBT, etc.)

  • Cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, BigQuery)

• Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures.

• Familiarity with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) is a plus.

• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and metadata management tools.

• Excellent communication and architectural documentation skills.
