Role Overview:
We are looking for a
Senior Marketing Automation Strategist
who can bring together
strategy, execution, creativity, and client management.
This person will:

Lead automation retainers and pitches, working closely with clients to understand business requirements.

Actively drive journey execution and campaign deployment across automation platforms.

Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure creatives (ads, banners, A+ content) align seamlessly with automation journeys.

Be the face of automation strategy for clients, ensuring business goals are met with both performance and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Automation & Omnichannel Strategy
-
Design, plan, and implement end-to-end automation journeys across Email, WhatsApp, Push, In-App,Web pop-up, SMS, and web personalization.

Develop audience segmentation, personalization, and retargeting strategies to maximize engagement and conversions.

Stay updated on emerging automation tech and creative integrations to bring innovation into brand journeys.
2. Creative Integration & Campaign Assets

Work with design/content teams to conceptualize and deliver
automation-ready creatives

Performance Media creatives (Meta, Google, quick commerce)

Email banners & templates
-
PDP and A+ content for ecommerce
-
Website banners & brandstore creatives
-
Ensure
design and copy
not only look premium but also
map seamlessly into automation journeys
for maximum impact.
3. Execution & Optimization
-
Build and deploy
journeys and campaigns
on leading automation platforms (WebEngage, MoEngage, Salesforce MC, Braze, etc.).

Conduct thorough
QA and testing
of campaigns before go-live.
-
Use
A/B testing, data insights, and performance tracking
to continuously optimize both automation flows and creative output.

Manage posting schedules, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to brand guidelines.
-
Coordinate with clients for approvals and ensure expectations are met with quality, creativity, and strategic alignment.
4. Client & Internal Collaboration

Act as a key point of contact for clients, translating brand objectives into automation roadmaps.

Collaborate with the Marketing Automation Technology team to integrate digital marketing campaigns with CRM, emailers, and other automation journeys wherever required.

Create monthly and campaign-wise content plans in coordination with design, copy, and tech teams.
-
Track, analyse, and optimise content and campaign performance to achieve KPIs.
-
Stay updated on platform algorithms, digital trends, and competitor activities to recommend proactive strategies.

Prepare performance reports, insights, and strategic recommendations for clients.
Skills & Competencies
-
Strong expertise
in Marketing Automation platforms (WebEngage, MoEngage, Braze, Klaviyo, Clevertap, etc.).

Proven ability to design and deploy
omnichannel automation journeys.
-
Understanding of
creative formats
for performance media, ecommerce (A+ content, PDPs, brandstores), and web banners.
-
Strong
creative eye
to align automation flows with high-quality designs.
-
Excellent
client communication, presentation, and project management skills.
-
Analytical mindset with ability to
interpret campaign data
and make optimization recommendations.
-
2–3 years of
agency experience in automation + creative collaboration.
