Senior Master planner - Lead Architect

We are seeking a Senior Master planner / Architect to lead the strategic planning and delivery of major developments. This role will be responsible for shaping master planning vision and overseeing projects from early concept and visioning through to Detailed Master Plans (DMP). The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary coordination, manage stakeholder and authority engagement, and ensure the highest standards of quality, compliance, and delivery.

You will mentor planning teams, review all masterplanning outputs, and ensure alignment with client objectives, Abu Dhabi regulatory requirements, budgets, and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead master planning strategy and oversee full project delivery from visioning to DMP.
• Manage multidisciplinary inputs (mobility, infra, sustainability, public realm. etc.).
• Guide client engagement, authorities coordination (DMT, ADM, ADAFSA, ITC, UPC legacy).
• Mentor the wider planning team and review all outputs for compliance with client's requirements and Abu Dhabi regulations.
• Drive quality, risk management, and ensure alignment with project budgets and timelines.
• Support business development and proposal preparation for major master planning opportunities.

Experience & Qualifications

Experience: 10-15 years, with extensive UAE/Abu Dhabi exposure across major CMPs and DMPs, framework plans, and large-scale community developments.
