Senior Mechanical design and Technical Engineer

A Leading MEP contracting and construction company in the UAE having the vacancy for the position of Senior Mechanical and Technical design engineer, the applicant will handle the Mechanical design and technical team in Abu Dhabi projects. The applicant shall have the following qualifications and experience:

1) Bachelor degree in the mechanical engineering with attested certificate.

2) Minimum 10 years experience in the mechanical (HVAC & Plumbing) design and technical aspects such as preparing design calculation, selection of equipment, reviewing the design drawings, technical analysis of the project mechanical drawings & specifications and producing workable shop drawings and equipment's selection.

3) Experience in preparing the heat load calculations, HAB Calculations, duct sizing calculation, pipe sizing calculation, hydraulic calculation, equipment's selection (Chillers, pumps, FAHUs, AHUs, FCUs,Etc..).

4) Experience in preparing the coordination layout, reviewing the drawings and giving the advice and direction to the draftsman team how to produce a workable and clash free coordination shop drawings.

5) Capability to be a leader for the drafts man team whom available in the projects, giving them directions and targets and to control and monitor their productivity.

6) Capability of attending the meetings with the internal team, with the main contractor, consultant & the client and to be able to raise and conclude all the technical issues with the team in a productive and constrictive manner.
