Senior Mechanical Designer

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to translate design concepts into technical drawings.
• Ensure that drawings comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company requirements.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback, modifications, or project requirements.
• Create fabrication and assembly drawings, including bills of materials (BOM).
• Maintain and organize drawing files, ensuring proper documentation and version control.
• Conduct basic design calculations and measurements to support engineering decisions.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to review and finalize technical specifications.
• Support the engineering team during prototype development, testing, and production.
• Identify and suggest improvements in design for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant drafting experience in mechanical engineering projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
