Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to lead and manage mechanical engineering activities for major Oil & Gas projects in Qatar. The role involves overseeing project execution from design through commissioning, ensuring compliance with technical, safety, and quality standards.

The role involves overseeing project execution from design through commissioning, ensuring compliance with technical, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical engineering activities across all project phases (FEED, EPC, commissioning).
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery.
- Review and approve mechanical designs, drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure adherence to HSE policies and quality procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects.
- Proven experience in project engineering and execution.
- Strong knowledge of rotating and static equipment, piping, and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with international standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Experience working in the Middle East/Qatar is an advantage.
