Senior Medical Billing Executive

The Senior Medical Billing Executive is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end medical billing process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reimbursement from insurance providers and patients. This role involves handling complex billing issues, mentoring junior staff, and optimizing revenue cycle operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the complete medical billing cycle, including charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, and denial management
• Review and resolve complex billing issues and insurance claim denials
• Ensure accurate coding compliance with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS standards
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely payments
• Coordinate with insurance companies to verify coverage and resolve discrepancies
• Audit billing processes to ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational standards
• Generate and analyze billing reports to identify trends and improvement areas
• Train, mentor, and support junior billing staff
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative teams to streamline workflows
• Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations, billing guidelines, and payer requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
• 4–7 years of experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management
• Strong knowledge of medical coding systems (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS)
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and billing software
• In-depth understanding of insurance claims processes and reimbursement methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
