Valika Interior Design is a leading interior design consultancy firm in Dubai, specializing in innovative and sustainable building solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MEP Design Engineer with strong technical expertise and proven leadership abilities to join our dynamic team and contribute to our prestigious projects across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of MEP systems including Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and DEWA regulations to maintain design excellence
• Prepare detailed MEP drawings, specifications, and calculations in compliance with DEWA standards and relevant local/international codes.
• Review and select appropriate materials, equipment, and finishes for all MEP works to ensure quality, durability, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project integration.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure designs are executed correctly and meet regulatory standards.
• Manage and supervise workforce and subcontractors, providing technical direction and ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, reviewing their work for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with top-quality execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years of proven MEP Engineer experience in the UAE.
• DEWA-approved engineer with a successful record of project approvals.
• Expertise in Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting system design.
• Strong knowledge of local and international MEP codes, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and other relevant design software.
• Strong skills in project management, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid UAE driving license is a plus.
