Senior MEP Quantity Surveying Engineer

Role Purpose

Handles advanced responsibilities related to commercial management of construction projects. The role involves quantity surveying tasks such as take-off, interim payments, and variation assessments while ensuring compliance with contractual terms and supporting Quantity surveying engineer staff within a project-based setup.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Preparing the evaluation of subcontractor and supplier invoices.
• preparing Payment interim and commercial documentation.
• Preparing Variation assessments and ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
• Guide and mentor Quantity surveying engineers.
• Collaborate with planning, procurement, and site teams to ensure cost efficiency.
• Maintain well-documented records for contractual purposes.
  
  

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in civil , Mechanical or Electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of solid experience in construction quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration (FIDIC, local standards).
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
• Proficiency in QS software (e.g.,MS Excel, AutoCAD).
• Proficient in English.
