Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop merchandising plans, budgets, and sales forecasts, aligning with business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer data to identify opportunities.
  • Product Management:
  • Oversee product development, from concept to final product, ensuring quality and cost standards.
  • Coordinate with design, production, and sourcing teams for material sourcing, sampling, and approvals.
  • Inventory & Operations:
  • Manage stock levels, forecast demand, and optimize inventory to prevent overstock/stockouts.
  • Manage logistics, ensuring timely shipment and delivery.
  • Supplier & Stakeholder Relations:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and buyers.
  • Data & Performance:
  • Analyze sales data and product performance to make data-driven decisions.
  • Prepare costing sheets, order sheets, and performance reports.
  • Leadership & Mentoring:
  • Guide and train junior merchandisers and store staff on merchandising techniques.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute strategies.

Core Skills:

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of production, costing, and market trends.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis.
  • Problem-solving, attention to detail, and time management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
