Senior Modelling Geologist

Asante Gold Corporation is a gold exploration, development and operating company with a high-quality portfolio of projects and mines in Ghana. Asante is currently operating the Bibiani and Chirano Gold Mines and continues with detailed technical studies at its Kubi Gold Project for early production.

All mines and projects are located on the prolific Bibiani and Ashanti Gold Belts. Asante is also exploring its Keyhole, Fahiakoba, and Betenase projects for new discoveries, all adjoining or along strike of major gold mines near the centre of Ghana's Golden Triangle. About This Role

This role takes the lead in shaping the geological understanding of our exploration projects. As a Senior Modelling Geologist, you will drive the development of high-quality 3D geological and resource models that inform exploration targeting, resource estimation, and project evaluation. Your expertise will directly support strategic decision-making and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with safety, mining, and statutory regulations during field activities.
• Lead the creation and maintenance of 3D geological and resource models for deposits across all exploration projects.
• Interpret drilling, logging, geochemical and mapping data to define.
• Collaborate with exploration teams to maintain accurate geological interpretations.
• Prepare Mineral Resource Estimates (MRE) in accordance with CIM NI 43-101 standards.
• Perform implicit modeling, domaining, grade interpolation and validation using industry software (Leapfrog, Micromine, Datamine) for all controls on gold mineralization.
• Support sampling strategies that reflect ore variability and metallurgical performance.
• Produce and present technical reports and models for internal reviews, audits and public disclosures.
• Assist in exploration targeting through structural and spatial analysis of mineralization trends.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor or authorized delegate.

Education, Work Experience & Key Competencies

• Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering, Geology or Earth Sciences.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in mining or exploration, with a focus on resource modeling preferably in gold.
• Proficiency in 3D geological modeling software (Leapfrog, Datamine, or Micromine).
• Strong grasp of geological processes, structural geology, sampling techniques, and analytical methods.
• Solid understanding of Birimian gold deposit models.
• Expertise in QAQC, geostatistics, and resource estimation methodologies.
• Familiarity with CIM NI 43-101 reporting codes and compliance standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
