Senior Network Engineer

The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the enterprise network infrastructure. This role ensures high availability, optimal performance, scalability, and security of network systems. The engineer will also mentor junior staff, lead complex network projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable connectivity solutions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Design & Implementation:

Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and cloud-based network systems.

• Infrastructure Management:

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers to ensure consistent performance.

• Security & Compliance:

Implement and maintain network security controls (firewalls, ACLs, IPS/IDS, NAC, etc.) and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

• Monitoring & Troubleshooting:

Use tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or Wireshark to proactively identify and resolve performance issues or outages.

• Cloud & Virtual Networking:

Manage networking across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and virtual infrastructures (VMware, Hyper-V).

• Documentation:

Create and maintain detailed network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

• Vendor & Project Management:

Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement, upgrades, and issue resolution.

• Mentorship:

Provide technical guidance, training, and support to junior engineers and IT staff.

• Disaster Recovery & Continuity:

Participate in planning and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹37,000.00 per month
