Senior Nurse

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, lead and support nursing staff, and ensure that clinical standards are maintained at all times. The Senior Staff Nurse will act as a role model, promoting professional practice and patient safety within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to all patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Supervise and mentor junior nurses, healthcare assistants, and students.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.
• Participate in clinical audits, staff training, and continuous improvement activities.
• Coordinate with doctors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Support in emergency situations and provide leadership in clinical decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bsc or GNM
• Valid registration necessary
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience needed
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of current nursing best practices and healthcare regulations.
