Key Responsibilities

• Odoo Development & Customization – Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules based on specific business requirements.
• System Integration – Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and ensure smooth interoperability with other internal systems.
• Database Management – Design, manage, and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance and scalability.
• Testing & Quality Assurance – Perform unit and integration testing; work closely with QA teams to identify, fix, and prevent software bugs.
• Documentation & Training – Create and maintain technical documentation; prepare user manuals and training materials.
• Collaboration & Reviews – Work alongside developers, business analysts, and functional consultants; participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Upgrades & Migration – Assist in upgrading existing Odoo systems and migrating data to newer versions.
• Continuous Learning – Stay updated with the latest Odoo features, updates, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Odoo Developer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
• In-depth knowledge of the Odoo framework and its module development.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, XML, and JSON.
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL database management.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Adaptability to evolving project requirements and priorities.
• Experience in functional analysis — gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
