Senior Odoo ERP Consultant

We are seeking a Senior Odoo ERP Techno-Functional Consultant with extensive experience in the latest Odoo versions (v15–v19) to lead a full-scale ERP implementation across all company departments.

This remote, 6-month target-based engagement covers the complete project lifecycle — from requirements gathering and workflow design to customization coordination, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.

The consultant will collaborate with executive management, departmental heads, and the development team to ensure the ERP system is aligned with business goals, regulatory requirements (ZATCA, VAT, GOSI), and ISO 9001 / ISO 27001 quality and information-security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis

• Conduct discovery workshops to analyze existing business processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Collect and document detailed functional and technical requirements from all departments.
• Prepare comprehensive requirement documents, process maps, and workflow diagrams.

2. Workflow Design & Solution Blueprint

• Design optimized, standardized workflows across Accounting, Sales, Procurement, Inventory, HR, Projects, and CRM.
• Ensure all designs comply with ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 27001 (Information Security) standards.
• Develop and validate implementation blueprints and project roadmaps with stakeholders.

3. Functional–Technical Coordination

• Act as the bridge between business teams and Odoo developers.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications.
• Supervise system configuration, integration, and custom module development in Odoo v19.
• Test and validate modules to ensure performance, data integrity, and compliance.

4. Implementation & Testing

• Oversee ERP configuration, deployment, and functional testing.
• Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure stakeholder approvals.
• Coordinate data migration, validation, and go-live readiness activities.

5. Compliance & Localization

• Ensure full compliance with Saudi localization standards including ZATCA e-invoicing (Phase 2), VAT, and GOSI.
• Integrate and configure Saudi-specific modules and workflows.
• Align system documentation and processes with ISO 9001 / ISO 27001 requirements.

6. Go-Live & Post-Implementation Support

• Lead go-live execution and system stabilization phases.
• Manage snag lists, issue tracking, and performance verification.
• Conduct user training sessions, prepare SOPs and user manuals, and oversee knowledge transfer.

7. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Provide regular progress updates, risk assessments, and milestone reports to management.
• Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements or process optimizations.
• Ensure continuous adherence to data protection, quality, and security policies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Odoo ERP implementation and consulting.
• Proven expertise in Odoo latest versions (Enterprise or Community).
• Strong functional knowledge of core modules: Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, HR, CRM, Projects, Manufacturing, and Payroll.
• Hands-on understanding of Saudi localization (ZATCA, VAT, GOSI).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and bilingual (Arabic & English) communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Certifications

• Odoo Functional or Technical Certification
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Certification (preferred)
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/27001 implementation or audit processes (advantageous)

Engagement Duration & Deliverables

Duration: 6 Months (Target-Based, Extendable Based on Performance)
