As a Senior Officer in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), you will play a vital role in supporting the implementation and maintenance of health and safety practices across our organization. Reporting to the Manager of Occupational Health & Safety within the Aviation & Aero Engine MRO division, you will be responsible for executing approved OHS procedures, conducting routine safety inspections, assisting in incident reporting, and maintaining compliance records. Your contributions will support audit preparations, approvals, and risk assessments while ensuring that complex issues are escalated appropriately.
We seek a dedicated professional with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field. Candidates with training or certification in OSHAD, NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are preferred. You should have 2 to 3 years of experience in OHS roles, ideally within an aviation or MRO environment, with exposure to audits, inspections, and incident reporting.
Key competencies include a solid understanding of OHS regulations and OSHAD compliance, workplace inspection skills, familiarity with incident investigation support, and knowledge of safety risk assessment methods. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, strong organizational and time management abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are essential for success in this role.
