Position: Senior Officer - Products & Segments

Primary Job Purpose
The jobholder participates in the development of product & segments activities, plans, promotions and advertising programs and related activities to ensure that existing and new products meet Bank goals and expectations. He / She develops and coordinates all aspects of product & segment introductions and monitors market results.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Operations, Review and Reporting
Understanding
Maintain updated knowledge of rules, regulations and standards in the field and related matters of interest to the department.
Fieldwork

Support in the evaluation of industry trends, customer feedback, technological advancements and marketing requirements.

Administer and perform all draws of the Bank including obtaining approvals, MOC licenses and announcements - conducting the draws as per the plan, coordinating with the Ministry of Commerce, announcing the names of the winners, being the guardian of all draw forms, coordinating with finance department to ensure prizes are credited, coordinating with winners, etc.

Evaluate product acceptance by interviewing customers to determine satisfaction, identify new application requirements, etc., to prevent product deficiencies.

Assist in preparation of training materials and technical training and business-related in-house training for sales representatives to acquire a knowledgeable sales force in the designated product line.

Monitor initial forecasts of new products, investigate, resolve product quality issues as necessary actions to maintain goals, implement cost reduction opportunities, and maximize profits.

Ownership of product handbook and ensuring regular update.

Assist in developing customer value proposition and promotional campaigns and track performance of each.

Evaluate and track competitors’ offerings and report competitive comparisons and analysis.

Participate in the development of the procedures for the products and services of the segment, as applicable.

Participate in the development and implementation of campaign calendar Suggest and recommend appropriate campaigns that suit the targeted segment.

Conduct customer satisfaction surveys, focus groups, and interviews.

Contribute to the data analysis related to Products and Segments, as applicable.

Assist other business units in the development of their products and segments, when required.
Reporting
-
Generate and escalate periodic and requested reports ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Assist in evaluating and tracking the competitors' products, determining market share, market trends and report competitive comparisons.
Stakeholder Management
Internal Interactions

Participate in the various cross-functional committees/teams for multiple purposes to achieve optimal cooperation and to assume seamless quality service.
