Position Summary


The Senior Oracle Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and modernizing Oracle applications using PL/SQL , Oracle Forms & Reports and APEX. The ideal candidate will bridge legacy systems with modern web applications while ensuring business continuity and performance optimization.


Key Responsibilities:


Database Development & Programming


  • Design and develop complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions
  • Optimize SQL queries and implement performance tuning
  • Develop database objects: tables, views, sequences, and synonyms
  • Implement advanced features: bulk processing, collections, dynamic SQL

System Integration & Migration


  • Plan and execute Forms-to-APEX migration strategies
  • Integrate legacy Forms applications with modern web services
  • Develop data migration scripts and conversion programs
  • Maintain hybrid environments during transition periods
  • Extract and summarize business and logic from legacy systems

Oracle Forms & Reports Development


  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Forms (10g/11g/12c) applications
  • Migrate and modernize legacy Forms applications to Oracle APEX
  • Develop and maintain Forms triggers, program units, and libraries
  • Implement advanced Forms functionality: LOVs, record groups, alerts, canvases


Oracle APEX Development


  • Design and develop modern web applications using Oracle APEX (18.x-24.x)
  • Create interactive reports, forms, and dynamic pages
  • Implement RESTful web services and external integrations
  • Develop responsive user interfaces with JavaScript and CSS
  • Migrate business logic from Forms to APEX applications

  • Version Control : Git, SVN for Forms/APEX development
  • project management and issue tracking tool: Jira.
  • Have experience in financial systems is preferred
