SENIOR PACKAGING DESIGNER

Compensation Range: $38 - 40 per hour

Are you a highly creative and detail-oriented Senior Graphic Designer with a passion for packaging? Our client who is a leader in the beauty space is seeking a talented professional to join their team in a hybrid role based in Newport Beach, CA. This is a unique opportunity to shape the visual identity of our products and bring innovative concepts to life.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Graphic Designer, you'll be a key player in our packaging design process from concept to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating Stunning Designs: Develop compelling 2D and 3D renderings for product packaging and conceptualize secondary packaging that captures our brand's essence.
• Bringing Concepts to Life: Craft impactful mood boards and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to turn creative ideas into reality.
• Ensuring Flawless Execution: Produce precise mechanicals, lay out artwork, and prepare files for suppliers while ensuring designs meet industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Mastering the Details: Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure all designs are error-free and meet our high-quality standards.
• Innovating and Adapting: Stay current on industry trends, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and proactively solve potential roadblocks.

Qualifications:

• We're looking for an experienced designer with a minimum of 4 years in graphic or packaging design and a strong portfolio that showcases your work. You're a forward-thinking individual who thrives on creativity and collaboration.

Required Skills:

• Software Proficiency: Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dimension).
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of printing processes, deco treatments, pantones, and foils.
• Proven Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage projects, meet tight deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on aesthetics and a meticulous approach to your work.
• Experience with TAG or ESKO software is a definite plus.
