This position is responsible for the surveillance and inspection of STRUCTIRAL Coating activities associated with the offshore Pipeline Sleepers Fabrication (QCON). This position involves both office and fieldwork. Job Description-
Ensure compliance to discipline codes and relevant standards.

Exercise control over workmanship and conformance to specifications.

Responsible for adherence to the quality plan.

Ensure availability of appropriate versions of applicable Work documents such as AFC drawings, specifications and international codes and standards.

Analyze data effectively and decide on which information is relevant to Project Specification.

Maintain records of calibration, inspection and testing equipment. Witness procedures, tests and certify the results.

Verify material receiving inspection and its conformance to the project specification.

Ensure that all inspection and test activities during Coating Procedure Qualification Test and manufacturer followed and verified.

Structure release checks through verification of material traceability, NDE clearance, prior to coating.

In-process surveillance verify compliance with specified fabrication procedure.

Perform final walkdown inspection, generation & verification of punch list close out.

Provide advice on special inspections, repairs, and solutions to anomalies.

Complete and endorse all inspection records
Qualifications-
Engineering / Diploma, or suitable equivalent plus recognized Trade Certificates

Coating Inspection Certificates such as NACE Level 2 / CSWIP BGAS 2 or equivalent.

15+ years of working experience as inspection personnel for Oil & Gas projects, 10 years of which must be in the onshore Gas Facilities sector.

Experience in inspection activities during procurement, fabrication, and installation of oil and gas production facilities projects.

Strong leadership and supervision skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proactive and visible safety leadership presence on site.

Ability to conduct training and audits effectively.
