Senior Partner, Ad Partner Management, Walmart Connect - Demand Activation

Position Summary...

Walmart Connect is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for our suppliers, merchants, stores, GMs, brand advertisers, ad tech partners, and agencies. Our full funnel ad solutions leverage Walmart’s in-store and online data, extensive reach, and to provide measurable results for our clientele. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service; these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, engage with Walmart consumers, and convert Walmart consumers to shoppers.

Walmart Connect is seeking a Senior Partner, Demand Activation, on the Media Partnerships team to support the partnerships and strategy that power our offsite solutions. This role is responsible for driving partnership strategy, revenue growth, operational excellence, and cross-functional execution across the organization.

Reporting to the Director of Media Partnerships, Demand Activation, you will serve as the business owner for Walmart Connect's strategic media partnerships, driving growth, execution, and partner success. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong operational execution and a proven ability to influence across teams to deliver business results. Success in this role requires strong partnership leadership, cross-functional influence, and operational execution.

What you'll do...

  • Own the revenue growth strategy and business outcomes for strategic media partnerships
  • Develop and execute joint business plans that drive adoption, revenue growth, and long-term strategic value.
  • Build and grow relationships with key partners, serving as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Identify and prioritize new growth opportunities, including commercial initiatives, product enhancements, and go-to-market programs.
  • Collaborate with partners on go-to-market initiatives, including co-selling, marketing programs, enablement, and joint growth strategies.
  • Partner closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to drive alignment and execution.
  • Gather partner feedback and market insights to help inform product strategy and roadmap prioritization.
  • Support Walmart Connect sales teams by enabling partner-backed solutions and opportunities.
  • Lead business reviews, performance reporting, and ongoing partnership governance.

Preferred Qualifications...

  • 7+ years strategic business and/or partnerships experience, preferably with a successful track record of managing business relationships and cross-functional projects
  • Deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including DSPs and SSPs.
  • Experience working cross-functionally, managing initiatives at scale and delivering results
  • Analytical experience with experience diagnosing problems and crafting solutions but also introduce ways to validate and measure outcomes
  • Experience building working relationships at all levels of management, both internal and external facing especially with sales or pre-sales teams
  • Interest or experience in working with complex, technical projects and product teams

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279: The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00
San Bruno, California US-08848: The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related area.
Option 2: Master’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related area.
Option 3: 5 years’ experience in brand advertising (for example, television, video, sponsorship), media sales, customer acquisition and growth, search, mobile, or online sales.
5 years’ experience in shopper marketing sales, eCommerce sales, or retail advertising sales.
5 years’ experience managing client accounts.
5 years’ experience as a strategic advisor working with C-suite clients.
