Senior Payroll Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Payroll Accountant who is ready to take the lead in ensuring our team is compensated with the same precision and care we put into our developments.

This is a senior-level role that blends financial expertise with a deep understanding of human capital. You will be the primary steward of our payroll operations, ensuring that every calculation is accurate and every deadline is met.

Your Mission

• WPS & Compliance: Manage the end-to-end payroll processing via the Wage Protection System (WPS), ensuring 100% alignment with Qatar Ministry of Labor standards.
• Benefits Architecture: Calculate and verify complex payroll components, including housing allowances, site differentials, overtime, and leave encashments.
• End-of-Service Specialist: Accurately calculate and process End of Service Benefits (EOSB) and gratuities in strict compliance with the Qatar Labor Law.
• General Ledger Integration: Ensure all payroll transactions are accurately mapped and reconciled within the General Ledger, managing accruals and month-end reporting.
• Audit & Reporting: Serve as the lead point of contact for payroll-related audits and provide the executive team with insightful labor cost analysis.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to streamline time-tracking and payroll disbursement workflows.

The Profile We’re Looking For

• Experience: 6+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3–4 years specializing in high-volume payroll. Experience in Real Estate, Construction, or Large-Scale Operations is highly preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Credentials: Professional certification (CPA or ACCA) or a specialized Payroll certification is a strong advantage.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of Qatar Labor Law and the latest WPS protocols.
• Technical Savvy: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and a mastery of Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables).
• Communication: Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a significant plus for interacting with government portals and local authorities.
