Senior Performance Testing Specialist - Raleigh NC - Hybrid

Client is seeking a Senior Level Specialist in Performance Testing for a 12 month engagement to provide testing support with the IT Enterprise Testing Team. The support consists of software testing of new releases/upgrades to applications developed by client IT for deployment. The individual must have proven experience with developing test documents, automated test scripts and testing web applications with complex interfaces across technology platforms. Experience with HP’s suite of testing tools (ALM/Quality Center, Quick Test Professional, LoadRunner/Performance Center and SiteScope) is required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review and analysis of project requirements for clarity, understanding and testability
• Development of system test plans and manual test cases
• Development of automatic test scripts for functional and performance testing
• Execution of the test cases and test scripts
• Defect management and reporting
• Providing input or creating testing artifacts to include but not be limited to test plans, test results, metrics and defect reports Providing weekly status reports to management

Skills Required:

• Experience testing business web applications and complex business applications across technologies
• Experience in designing test plans, manual test case definition and test case execution, and review and analysis of project requirements
• Experience with developing automated test scripts
• Experience with HP Testing Tools Suite (ALM/Quality Center, Quick Test Professional/UFT, LoadRunner/Performance Center and SiteScope
• Experience developing testing approach, test environment requirements and data strategies
• Strong, demonstrated documentation skills (test cases, test plans and test artifacts)
• Strong Microsoft Suite experience (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience testing in an Agile life-cycle environment

Educational Qualifications:

• Computer Science Degree or related discipline; professional certification
