Senior Personnel Specialist (Fire Rescue)

This position will reside in the Professional Standards Division within the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department and is responsible for supporting labor relations functions, including matters involving discipline, grievances, and the complaint process. The role entails researching, documenting, and monitoring grievances, public records requests, disciplinary actions, and complaints filed against the department. These may include external complaints, Title VII claims, and internal matters raised by Miami-Dade County employees. The work supports departmental hearings, arbitration cases, and internal investigations. The position operates under the guidance of an administrative supervisor, who reviews performance through reports, operational oversight, and evaluation of the overall quality and completeness of assignments
