Role Overview:

The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day functioning of multiple hospital-based pharmacies, ensuring smooth operations, regulatory compliance, cost control, and high service standards. The role requires managing staff, optimizing processes, coordinating with hospital administration, and driving efficiency across multiple pharmacy units.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage operations of multiple hospital pharmacies (inpatient & outpatient).

· Ensure adherence to regulatory, statutory, and hospital compliance requirements.

· Oversee procurement, inventory management, and stock audits to minimize pilferage and expiries.

· Monitor sales, margins, and profitability of each unit.

· Lead, train, and supervise pharmacy staff to maintain service quality and professional standards.

· Coordinate with hospital management, doctors, and nursing teams for seamless medication services.

· Implement SOPs, quality checks, and patient safety protocols.

· Generate and review operational reports, KPIs, and financial performance of pharmacy units.

· Drive cost optimization, vendor negotiations, and improve operational efficiency.

· Handle escalations and resolve operational issues across sites.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare Management, or related field.

· 3-5 years of experience in pharmacy operations or hospital administration (multi-site preferred).

· Strong knowledge of drug regulations, hospital pharmacy processes, and audits.

· Excellent leadership, people management, and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in MIS, reporting, and pharmacy management systems.

· Ability to travel across assigned hospital locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
