Project Overview:

Bechtel has been involved over the last 80 years in some of the world’s busiest and most complex airport projects, including Greenfield and Brownfield developments. In the GCC, we have held significant roles on King Khalid, King Fahad, Dubai, Hamad, and Muscat international airports. Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company has been appointed to provide project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial, and construction management) for the development of a state of the art international airport in the city of Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. King Salman International Airport will have a capacity of up to 120 million travellers by 2030 and 185 million travellers by 2050, and the capacity to process up to 3.5 million tons of cargo by 2050. Bechtel will provide PMC services for three new terminals; Terminal 6 is a new build ‘low cost carrier’ – hyper efficient terminal with gross floor area of 450,000m2, capacity of 20mppa; Iconic Terminal is a new build ‘new concept’ terminal with gross floor area of 1M m2, capacity of 40 to 45 mppa, and Private Aviation Terminal and hangars for VIPs and business jet passengers.

Job Summary:

In this position, you will work with the project team to lead a team to manage the entire set of planning activities for assigned projects. You will identify schedule trends, analyze data to provide innovative solutions to scheduling challenges, ensure schedule updates are completed on time, and be responsible for reporting requirements. Your leadership will be essential in driving scheduling efficiency and project success.

Major Responsibilities:

• Manages planning activities for an area within a project, including Level 3 and Level 4
• schedules Contributes to establishing WBS in accordance with the Customer requirements
• Identifies schedule trends for management attention Analyzes data to provide innovative solutions to scheduling challenges
• Ensures schedule updates are completed in time to support project reporting requirements
• Supports project organizational and administrative activities Identifies critical paths and analyzes durations provided by contractors
• Reviews Contractors provided schedules for accuracy Works with Engineering to develop syncho 4D models
  

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Prior experience working as client representation or in PM/CM role preferred.
• Proficiency with PC operating systems, with proficiency in several basic software applications.
• Knowledge of engineering and construction management customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience.
• Fully proficient in existing data sources, excel etc. however all outputs are expected to be provided in Power BI.
• Prior Middle-East work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of supervision, personnel administration, and training of technical and non-technical personnel.
• Candidate should possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with an ability to work closely with peers, external customers, and client counterparts
