Key responsibilities:
- Project planning and scheduling: Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and timelines, including work breakdown structures, and manage them through to completion.
- Resource coordination: Ensure the proper allocation and coordination of necessary resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Progress monitoring: Track project progress against the schedule, identify delays, and implement recovery plans as needed.
- Risk management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks and roadblocks that could affect project timelines.
- Stakeholder collaboration: Work with various stakeholders, including clients and internal teams, to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with objectives.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on project status, performance, and budget to management and clients.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years experience in project planning, ideally with large-scale projects in a relevant industry, is essential.
- Software proficiency: Expertise in project planning and scheduling software is a must.
- Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving abilities are needed to overcome challenges and keep the project on track.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Organizational skills: Strong organizational skills are required to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
