Senior Planning Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and management of comprehensive project plans, detailed timelines, and effective resource allocation strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define clear project objectives, scope, and deliverables that align with organizational goals.
  • Review and evaluate project proposals to ensure compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Conduct in-depth assessments of ongoing projects to identify risks, gaps, or improvement opportunities, ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Coordinate closely with project teams, architects, engineers, and other technical staff to integrate planning and review functions seamlessly.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination between departments to align on project timelines and critical milestones.
  • Implement, monitor, and enhance quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle to maintain high standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and legal requirements.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present detailed reports on project status, compliance findings, risks, and quality performance to senior leadership.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all project planning, review activities, and compliance records.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to strengthen planning, review, and quality control workflows.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, new technologies, and best practices to continuously improve project outcomes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Minimum of 15–17 years of proven experience in project planning, control, and review within the construction or real estate development sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction standards, project management methodologies, and local building regulations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive accountability.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to engage confidently with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management and planning software tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar).
