Fourth Dimension Group is a subcontractor supporting major Oil & Gas projects in Qatar and UAE. Our scope includes mechanical and piping construction works such as fabrication, erection, hydrotesting, pre-commissioning, and site execution coordination with the main contractor.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Manager to lead and manage all planning and scheduling activities for our mechanical and piping construction projects within major Oil & Gas developments.

The candidate will oversee subcontract planning functions, coordinate closely with the main EPC contractor, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones in alignment with contractual requirements.

Project Scope

Mechanical and piping construction works for Oil & Gas projects, including fabrication, installation/erection, hydrotesting, pre-commissioning activities, and overall site execution supervision in coordination with the main contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning department for mechanical & piping subcontract scope
• Develop and maintain detailed Level 3, 4 & 5 schedules using Primavera P6
• Oversee resource-loaded schedules and manpower histograms
• Monitor fabrication, erection, hydrotesting, and pre-commissioning progress
• Conduct critical path analysis and schedule risk assessments
• Prepare recovery plans and mitigation strategies
• Interface with main contractor planning teams and client representatives
• Oversee weekly/monthly progress reports and management dashboards
• Support project management in delay analysis and claim preparation
• Ensure compliance with contractual milestones and reporting standards

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
• Minimum 10+ years Oil & Gas experience
• Minimum 5+ years GCC experience
• Strong background in mechanical & piping construction planning
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (Mandatory)
• Experience working under main EPC contractors
• Strong leadership and team management skills

Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR8,500.00 per month
