Senior Pre-Litigation Attorney

We’re seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our expanding Pre-Litigation Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of personal injury law, exceptional client-service skills, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload from intake through settlement. This role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills to ensure each case is handled efficiently and with the highest level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and oversee multiple personal injury cases from intake to settlement
• Collaborate with internal departments, including Property Damage, Case Management, Demands/Negotiation, and Liens, to ensure effective communication and case coordination
• Analyze case facts, liability, and coverage to develop strong case strategies and support successful resolution
• Communicate daily with clients, providing regular updates and delivering exceptional client service throughout each stage of representation
• Review and assess medical records, police reports, and insurance documentation to evaluate case value and settlement potential
• Draft and respond to correspondence, demand letters, and settlement offers
• Engage in negotiations with insurance carriers and opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
• Prepare cases for litigation handoff when settlement cannot be reached
• Maintain detailed and accurate case notes in the firm’s case management system

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active member of the California State Bar in good standing
• Minimum 5 years of personal injury pre-litigation experience required
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision
• Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
• Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Commitment to providing exceptional client service and maintaining professionalism in all interactions

Salary Range: $80,000.00-$200,000.00
