As a Presales Consultant at Keka HR, you will be the technical and domain expert during the sales cycle. You will engage with prospective customers, understand their HR / people‑ops challenges, map those to Keka’s product/features, conduct demos or proofs of concept, and enable the sales team to close deals. You’ll act as a bridge between Product, Sales, and Customers, ensuring the proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with customer needs.

Conduct discovery sessions / workshops with prospects to understand their HR systems, process workflows, technology environment, business needs, and pain points.

Map prospect requirements to Keka’s product modules / marketplace / integration capabilities / APIs & propose tailored solutions.

Deliver product demonstrations, proof‑of‑concepts (POCs), and custom demos that illustrate how Keka can solve customer problems.

Support the sales team in responding to RFIs, RFPs, and other technical proposal requests.

Create technical proposals, statements of work (SoWs), and commercial documentation as needed.

Clarify non‑functional requirements: infrastructure, security, compliance, data migration, integrations, etc.

Liaise with Product and Engineering teams to gather inputs, clarify feature gaps, and feed back customer requirements.

Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape in HR tech / HRMS / SaaS, best practices, to position product differentiators effectively.

Communicate value propositions clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders (HR leaders, Finance, IT, etc.).

Track leads / presales pipeline, ensure documentation is updated in CRM or internal tools.

Occasionally assist in post‑sales handover to ensure smooth transition from presales to implementation.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent technical / business degree.

3‑6 years of experience in pre‑sales / solution consulting / technical sales roles, ideally within SaaS / HRMS / HR technology domain.

Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows, security & compliance requirements.

Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills; ability to deliver product demos convincingly.

Able to explain complex technical or HR systems in simple business value terms.

Customer‑facing experience; stakeholder management skills.

Analytical mindset; ability to think through both functionality & technical constraints.

Ability to multi‑task, work under deadlines, respond to RFPs etc.

Prior experience working cross‑functionally with Product / Engineering / Sales teams.

Experience with HRMS / HR tech platforms, marketplace/integration ecosystems.

Prior exposure to enterprise customers (medium to large) with complex HR landscapes.

Knowledge of data regulations/privacy (for example, GDPR / local data protection laws).

Experience with technical demos, POCs.

Certifications relevant to SaaS / integrations / cloud infrastructure.
