To ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective warehouse and transport operations while meeting Business Unit and customer service requirements. The role focuses on optimizing logistics processes through strong vendor management, system-driven execution, and transparent stakeholder coordination.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage end-to-end warehouse operations and domestic order execution as an Individual Contributor.
- Perform cost–benefit analysis for warehouse options aligned with Business Unit and end-customer service and cost requirements.
- Strong expertise in tolling/third-party manufacturing, including managing 3PL/toll manufacturers, overseeing external production for quality and GMP compliance, and coordinating material movement and site operations.
- Ensures statutory and process compliance while developing, tracking, and reporting KPIs for third-party manufacturing performance.
- Lead warehouse cost evaluation, tendering, and vendor negotiations, including domestic transporter rate negotiation and contract finalization.
- Execute new warehouse setup in SAP.
- Execute export orders, including weight notes and palletization.
- Ensure end-to-end warehouse and transport compliance, with or without ESHA guidance.
- Take proactive decisions based on operational needs and ensure transparent communication between factories and transporters.
