Job Summary

The Senior Procurement & Estimation Engineer will be responsible for managing both procurement and project cost estimation activities. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Sales, Estimation, Engineering, and Procurement to ensure accurate costing, competitive pricing, timely material availability, and cost-effective execution without compromising quality or compliance.

Required Skills

• Ability to analyze drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Excellent communication and cross-functional stakeholder management skills

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement and estimation activities, including sourcing, vendor identification, selection, and project cost estimation.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, budgets, and feasibility analyses based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Conduct vendor evaluations considering quality, cost, delivery timelines, and reliability to support both estimation accuracy and procurement decisions.
• Lead commercial negotiations to achieve best value for cost without compromising on quality and technical requirements.
• Plan procurement and material requirements in advance to ensure uninterrupted supply aligned with project schedules.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Estimation, Engineering, Projects, Logistics, and Finance to ensure competitive pricing, accurate costing, and smooth execution.
• Maintain and develop a structured vendor database while building long-term supplier relationships.
• Track estimated versus actual costs and provide inputs for cost optimization, value engineering, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and governance standards.
