POSITION : SR. PROCUREMENT AND PURCHASE OFFICER

Job Summary:

The Senior Purchase and Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services. This role requires an experienced professional with deep knowledge of the local and international supply market, especially in the interior fit-out and construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure best value in terms of quality, price, and delivery.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply chains.
• Review and analyze purchase requisitions and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts for services/materials.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, delivery schedules, and project procurement plans.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to project sites.
• Conduct regular vendor evaluations and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and site teams to understand material requirements.
• Stay updated on market trends, price fluctuations, and new materials/products in the interior fit-out sector.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and reports for audit and budgeting purposes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of procurement experience in the interior fit-out, construction, or related industries in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of local and international suppliers for interior fit-out materials (e.g., joinery, finishes, MEP, furniture, etc.).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in procurement software and ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of UAE import/export regulations and logistics.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• UAE driving license preferred.
