Senior Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Procurement Supervisor to manage and oversee all procurement activities for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials in line with project requirements and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise procurement activities for construction projects
• Source and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors
• Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company procedures
• Ensure timely procurement of materials such as civil, MEP, and finishing materials
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Stores for material requirements
• Monitor stock levels and ensure proper inventory control
• Maintain supplier database and performance records
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and contractual requirements
• Track deliveries and resolve supply chain or quality issues
• Prepare procurement reports, cost comparisons, and savings analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
• 5–8 years of experience in procurement within the construction industry in UAE
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, MEP items, and suppliers in UAE market
• Experience in handling multiple project procurement
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of local supplier networks and subcontractors
• UAE driving license (preferred)
