Job Summary:

The Senior Product Designer will play a key role in leading the design and development of new furniture collections and product lines. This role requires a balance of artistic vision, deep technical knowledge, and a strong understanding of the market. You will be responsible for designing innovative, high-quality, and manufacturable furniture products that reflect the Al-Haadi Mobilya brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:Design & Development

• Lead the end-to-end design process: concept creation, sketching, 3D modeling, prototyping, detailing, and final execution.
• Research market trends, materials, customer preferences, and cultural aesthetics to inform design direction.
• Design furniture pieces that are both beautiful and functional, aligning with the brand’s design language.
• Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications for production and prototyping.

Collaboration & Coordination

• Work closely with production, engineering, sourcing, and merchandising teams to ensure seamless product development.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and manufacturers to resolve technical issues and ensure design accuracy.
• Oversee the prototyping process and provide direction on refinements, finishes, and material selections.

Creative Leadership

• Mentor junior designers and contribute to building a strong internal design culture.
• Contribute ideas for seasonal collections and product strategy aligned with business goals.
• Stay updated on design innovations, material technologies, and sustainability trends.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Product Design, Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product/furniture design, with a proven track record of delivering market-ready products.
• Strong design portfolio showcasing original, innovative, and functional furniture designs.
• Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, SolidWorks, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools like KeyShot or V-Ray.
• Deep understanding of materials (wood, upholstery, metal, finishes), joinery, and furniture construction techniques.
• Knowledge of production processes, costing, and prototyping.
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for design, detail, and delivering high-quality products.

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
