Senior Product Designer

The Job in a Nutshell: The UX Designer will work closely with the Product, Data and Engineering teams, reporting to the Product Design Manager. As a Product Designer, you will actively contribute to the product strategy and vision and be responsible for defining and scaling our product experiences in collaboration with Product Managers, other designers and cross-functional partners to elevate Foodics product quality.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Design Managers, Product Lead and Engineering Manager to shape strategy and roadmap for the Foodics Design System and design process.
• Work with the Product Design Manager to scope project work (in partnership with PMs, Data and engineers) and help define the design process and timeline to implement them.
• Inspire fellow product designers by maintaining a high bar of quality design work and pushing the team to challenge the status quo.
• Be a technical reference for the team, adopting and sharing best practices to raise the team's standards.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience as UX Designer or Product Designer.
• Strong knowledge of human-computer interaction, UX laws, and visual standards for mobile and native apps.
• Experience working with product teams to build scalable solutions, and defining design direction for products and processes while inspiring others.
• Ability to balance business definitions, technical feasibility and user needs. Strong storytelling, presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience designing platforms and systems; systems-thinking mindset and the ability to translate complex information into digestible designs.
