Senior Product Designer (AI & Design Systems)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to join our client, one of the leading banking institutions in the Middle East. This role is ideal for a design leader who combines strong UX thinking, design systems expertise, and exposure to AI-driven solutions .

You will work closely within agile squads alongside product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to design intuitive, scalable, and impactful digital experiences—primarily within the corporate banking domain .

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design lifecycle: research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and final UI delivery
• Design and evolve scalable design systems ensuring consistency across platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Business) within Agile squads
• Translate complex business and banking requirements into intuitive user experiences
• Apply user-centered design principles and conduct usability testing to improve product outcomes
• Work on AI-powered product features, ensuring seamless UX integration
• Contribute to design strategy and innovation, especially in digital banking experiences
• Mentor junior designers and promote design best practices
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Product Designer / Senior Product Designer
• Strong portfolio showcasing UX, UI, and problem-solving capabilities
• Proven experience building and maintaining Design Systems
• Hands-on experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD
• Solid understanding of UX research, interaction design, and usability principles
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) within cross-functional squads
• Exposure to AI/ML-driven product design is highly preferred
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Prior experience in banking or financial services, especially corporate banking
• Experience designing data-heavy or enterprise-level applications
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design
