Role Overview


The Senior Product Manager – Digital Banking Channels is responsible for defining, owning, and evolving market-ready digital banking products offered to multiple financial institutions. The role focuses on building scalable, configurable digital channels that integrate with core banking systems.

This position drives product strategy, roadmap execution, and commercial readiness for digital banking platforms across web, mobile, and API-based channels.


Key Responsibilities


Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap for digital banking channels (retail, corporate, SME).
  • Ensure alignment with market needs, customer expectations, and vendor portfolio strategy.
  • Drive standardization and reusability while enabling configuration for different banks and markets.


Market & Customer-Driven Product Management

  • Engage with client banks, prospects, sales, and presales teams to capture digital-channel requirements and pain points.
  • Translate market and customer demands into scalable, reusable product capabilities.
  • Balance customer-specific requests with long-term product sustainability.


End-to-End Product Lifecycle

  • Own the full digital product lifecycle from ideation and business case through delivery, release, and continuous optimization.
  • Prioritize backlogs based on customer value, market impact, revenue potential, and delivery effort.
  • Work closely with engineering, UX, QA, and delivery teams to ensure high-quality releases.


Digital Experience & Architecture Alignment

  • Own end-to-end digital customer journeys across web and mobile channels.
  • Ensure digital products integrate cleanly with core banking systems through APIs and middleware.
  • Promote API-first, scalable, and cloud-ready digital product design.


Commercial & Go-to-Market Enablement

  • Support sales and presales through product positioning, demos, RFP responses, and value propositions.
  • Contribute to product packaging, licensing inputs, and commercial differentiation.
  • Support win/loss analysis to continuously improve competitiveness.


Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure digital products comply with security, regulatory, and data-privacy requirements across multiple markets.
  • Work closely with compliance, security, and architecture teams during design and delivery.
  • Support audits, customer due diligence, and production-readiness activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of digital products management experience, preferably in a banking software vendor or fintech environment.
  • Strong experience with digital banking platforms and customer-facing channels.
  • Proven track record managing products used by multiple banks and markets.
  • Experience working with Agile delivery models and product tools (e.g., Aha! , Azure DevOps).

  • Exposure to cloud-native, API-first, or omnichannel banking platforms.
