The Flexera Workload Optimization Team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join us on our journey. We are specifically looking for someone with deep understanding and hands-on familiarity in the following disciplines:

  • B2B SaaS Product Management

  • Kubernetes (K8s) and workload optimization

  • Public Cloud Hosting (Azure, AWS or GCP)

  • DevOps CI/CD experience

We recognize this is a demanding set of requirements and so we are also keen to hear from individuals with experience of much of the above who can also show credible evidence of their ability to learn exceptionally quickly.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will:

  • Own the execution of a significant part of the Ocean product roadmap, taking a leading role in prioritization, planning, coordination and release activities.

  • Go deep in discovery with customers, partners and other stakeholders, presenting your learnings and conclusions in the form of compelling requirements documentation.

  • Build high-trust relationships across Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, Product Marketing and Technical Support.

Job Requirements

  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices, Kubernetes architecture and workload optimization techniques, including HPA, VPA/rightsizing and cluster autoscaling.

  • A superb communicator, both in person and in written work. A genuine talent for explaining complex technical concepts to a wide variety of audiences.

  • An ambassador for your area: very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

  • A bias for action: we’re seeking someone who can move quickly to build, promote, and deliver products in fast-moving environments.

  • Low ego: someone who is prepared to reason, describe and defend their approach transparently. Someone who actively seeks feedback and who acts upon it in the best interests of Flexera.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of Product Management experience.

  • A total of at least 6 years of hands-on technical experience across Product Management, DevOps, Platform Engineering, FinOps or similar relevant disciplines.

  • Educated to degree level in Computer Science or another Science, Technoloqy, Engineering or Mathematics subject.

  • Demonstrable success working with Product and Engineering teams to deliver complex technical products.

  • Demonstrable experience of working with demanding customers in a B2B SaaS environment.
