We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the candidate-facing experience across GovernmentJobs.com, SchoolJobs.com, agency career sites, and the end-to-end apply process.

This role is ideal for a product leader who has directly owned high-traffic job board experiences, understands how to drive growth through SEO, and knows how to optimize application funnels to improve conversion and usability for job seekers.

As an individual contributor, you will work closely with engineering and design to deliver intuitive, modern, and scalable experiences that help public sector employers connect with the right candidates.


What You Will do

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for GovernmentJobs.com, SchoolJobs.com, agency career sites, and the candidate apply experience
  • Lead improvements to job seeker discovery, search, relevance, and application conversion
  • Drive SEO-focused enhancements, including technical SEO, structured content, and organic traffic growth initiatives
  • Partner closely with engineering and design to deliver high-quality, user-centered solutions
  • Define product requirements, prioritize work, and ensure successful execution from concept through launch
  • Use data and insights to identify drop-off points and improve the end-to-end candidate journey
  • Establish and track success metrics tied to candidate engagement, apply completion, and site performance
  • Communicate product plans, progress, and outcomes clearly to leadership and key stakeholders

Who You Are

  • 7-10+ years of product management experience, with direct ownership of candidate-facing digital experiences
  • Proven experience working on one or more of the following:
    • Job boards or marketplace-style platforms
    • Company career sites
    • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) apply flows
    • SEO-driven consumer web products
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices, including technical SEO and content strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize conversion funnels and improve user experience through data
  • Experience working directly with engineering teams in an agile product development environment
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and execution skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in HR technology, recruiting platforms, or talent acquisition products
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Aha!, Google Analytics, and Gainsight
  • Passion for building products that support public sector and education hiring
