Senior Product Manager- Lending

The Role

We're looking for a senior product manager who understands lending operations from the inside. You'll spend significant time embedded with our lending team—loan officers, processors, underwriters, closers—mapping processes, identifying pain points, and building solutions that make their work faster and more effective.

What You'll Do

• Map out lending processes (origination, underwriting, closing, servicing) to identify automation opportunities
• Work directly with loan officers, processors, and underwriters to understand their workflows and pain points
• Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps or Jira
• Create wireframes and process flow diagrams to communicate product vision Lead agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and manage product backlogs
• Present product roadmaps and progress to C-level executives and stakeholders
• Analyze product performance using data (Power BI, SQL, Excel) and make data-driven recommendations
• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to accelerate documentation, analysis, and delivery

What We Are Looking for:

• 5+ years of product management experience in software/tech products

• Lending or sales experience—you've worked in or built products for lending operations (mortgage, consumer lending, commercial lending) or sales processes
• Strong process mapping skills—ability to visually map complex workflows and identify bottlenecks
• Technical product management—comfortable discussing APIs, integrations, data flows, and system architecture with engineers
• Agile/Scrum experience—hands-on experience running sprints, grooming backlogs, and managing user stories in Jira or Azure DevOps
• Executive communication—proven ability to present to C-level executives and influence senior stakeholders. You will present to the CEO often.
• Data literacy—can analyze data in Excel/Power BI/SQL to inform product decisions
• AI tool proficiency—actively using LLM tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to improve productivity

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
• Mortgage lending experience (origination, underwriting, closing, servicing)
• CRM system experience (Velocify, Encompass, Loan Origination Systems)
• UX/UI design skills (Figma, wireframing tools)
• Experience with workflow engines or business rules engines
• SQL proficiency for data analysis
