Job Title: Senior Production Engineer
Location: Makali / Nagarur

Reports To: Production Manager / Plant Head

Job Purpose:
Lead and optimize production operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing in line with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and automotive standards. Drive continuous improvement, quality, and team development to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production to meet quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Implement Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, reducing scrap, rework, and downtime.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Design teams for process optimization.
• Manage production planning, manpower, and resource utilization.
• Train teams on SOPs, safety, and quality systems.
• Support audits, APQP, PPAP, and customer requirements.
• Drive cost reduction and improve OEE.

Key Requirements:

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or related field.
• Experience: 7–12 years in automotive manufacturing (3+ years in a lead role).
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.
• Proficient in Lean, TPM, Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred).
• ERP/MES and MS Office proficiency.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in Tier-1/Tier-2 automotive manufacturing.
• Exposure to OEM/Tier-1 audits and compliance documentation.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental management systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
