Senior Production Engineer - FMCG

GENERAL PURPOSE
A leading Company in the food & beverage manufacturing is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to enhance their team, focusing on optimizing production processes, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in their operations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and oversee the production process, ensuring high standards of efficiency, safety, and product quality are consistently met.
• Utilize advanced engineering principles to analyze production metrics, develop improvements, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and refine production schedules, balancing supply with demand.
• Supervise junior engineers and production staff, providing guidance and support in operational tasks and projects.
• Conduct regular assessments of production equipment and processes to identify areas for enhancement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, leading initiatives for continuous safety improvements.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on production performance, issues, and proposed improvements for senior management review.
• Engage in research and development of new production techniques and technologies to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Participate in budget planning and management for production operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field).
• 3-5 years of experience in production engineering or related roles within an industrial setting.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, managing teams and projects effectively.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive informed decision-making.
• Proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and a solid understanding of production systems.
