Senior Program Administrator - Release Train Engineer

The Senior Program Administrator – Agile Release Train Engineer & Coach serves as a strategic leader responsible for enabling effective delivery of large, complex technology and operational initiatives across the organization. This role functions as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) and enterprise Agile coach, guiding teams and leaders in the application of Lean-Agile practices to improve delivery flow, alignment, and organizational execution. The individual facilitates large-scale planning and coordination across teams, removes systemic impediments, and helps leaders and delivery teams continuously improve how work is planned, prioritized, and delivered. The role partners with executives, product/value stream leaders, and delivery teams to align strategy with execution, ensure transparency of commitments and outcomes, and cultivate the organizational capabilities required to deliver value predictably and efficiently.

This position plays a vital role in strengthening organizational Agile maturity, supporting consistent quarterly planning and delivery cycles, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across teams and programs. The role researches, develops, administers, and evaluates programs and projects based on the identified needs of the Division. It is also responsible for developing strategies that advance enterprise initiatives and providing management support in partnership with senior medical and administrative leaders across the Division.

A caregiver in this role works remotely in Ohio, Florida or Nevada, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

This position requires up to 10% travel in OH, FL or NV.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Act as the primary liaison for highly complex initiatives and with organizational impact for the Division.

  • Set and drive goals and timelines as they relate to initiatives.

  • Create an effective plan to meet objectives.

  • Provide clarity around objectives, including metrics, baselines, and targets.

  • Communicate plans and status to stakeholders, including team, sponsors and executive leadership.

  • Drive accountability around commitments across project teams.

  • Ensure results can be incorporated into daily business practices.

  • Create systems and processes to measure results over time.

  • Facilitate quarterly planning events and ongoing program synchronization across multiple delivery teams.

  • Identify and remove systemic impediments that impact program delivery and team flow.

  • Coach leaders, product and value stream owners, and teams in Lean-Agile practice to improve delivery effectiveness.

  • Monitor program delivery metrics and drive continuous improvement in planning, execution, and predictability.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare or a related field

  • Ten years of relevant experience with three years of managing large projects

  • Leadership experience over complex projects or a team of professionals

  • Experience planning and implementing systems and procedures

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Master’s Degree

  • Experience serving as a Release Train Engineer, Agile Program Lead, or Agile Coach coordinating delivery across multiple teams in a complex organization

  • Experience supporting scaled Agile delivery models (e.g., SAFe, large-scale Scrum, or enterprise Kanban environments)

  • Experience working in healthcare IT environments, with familiarity supporting delivery involving Epic EMR platforms and related clinical or operational systems strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to work with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities and drive program outcomes

  • Strong facilitation, communication, and organizational change leadership skills

  • Relevant certifications such as SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or Lean/Six Sigma

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a personal computer and other office and laboratory equipment.

  • Must be able to sit for one hour or more.

  • Must be able to work under stressful conditions.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.

Pay Range

Minimum Annual Salary: $118,960.00

Maximum Annual Salary: $190,360.00

A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education.
